The Environmental Protection Agency, in all its wisdom, is currently considering a petition by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD); the intention of which is to ban all traditional ammunition based on the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976 (the original petition and information can be accessed here).
According to the above-linked article, the EPA has until November 1, 2010 — the day before mid-term elections — to accept or reject this petition. To say that your voice needs to be heard would be, as the saying goes, a huge understatement.

Dave, after I left a comment on the Regulations.gov site, I received a “tracking code” for my letter to them, but it seemed to be a rather ambiguous response as to whether or not I would ever be able to see others. Did you receive the same?

Well well well, another illegal attempt to disarm the American people, by the EPA no less. When are our state representatives going to just NULLIFY the goons in Washington, once and for all?
Of course, the ban will not apply to our “master” and those who would subjugate us.
So many “laws”, codes, statutes, regulations and other offal that have the color of law are entirely null and void and our states need to stand up and say ENOUGH. NO more claptrap from the criminals in DC.
This is just another example of President Obama and the George Soros clan’s attempts to subvert congress. They know that the votes are not there to ban guns, so they do an end around by using the EPA. It is the same thing they are doing with Cap and Tax “trade”. This president is destroying this country any way he can and this is just another example.
