Digital Content Creator

The National Association for Gun Rights is seeking a creative, dynamic, and skilled Digital Content Creator to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence and engage our community through a variety of digital platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Social Media Director, contributing to the development and execution of our digital content strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and impactful digital content, including social media memes, Reels, YouTube videos, and other forms of multimedia.
  • Work closely with the Communications Director and Director of Social Media to align content strategies with our organization’s mission and audience engagement goals.
  • Edit and produce visual content quickly in response to breaking news and events
  • Stay up to date with current trends in digital media and incorporate innovative approaches in content creation.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaign themes and content.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for user experience across all channels.
  • Limited travel will be required for full-time staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Content Creator or in a similar role in digital media..
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premier. Knowledge of Illustrator and After Effects is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of firearms and a commitment to the principles of gun rights.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and accessible manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

This position is an in-office position at either our Washington DC or Loveland, CO office.

Pay Range (Non-Exempt): $50,000- $60,000 (contingent on experience)
